This style is named after Brigid, the celtic goddess of Spring, healing, smithcraft in irish mythology. Known as the goddess of poetry as well. Brigid means "exalted one". She is known as a triple goddess; one deity archetype with a triunity of three distinct aspects or figures united in one being represented by the triple moon image which is symbolic of the three phases of the goddess as the Maiden, Mother, and Crone.
This is a nickel and lead free brass, composed of copper and zinc. Brass may tarnish over time, it can oxidize when exposed to sweat, stored against other metals or with time. Some like the tarnished look for an antiqued look. But you can shine your brass back to its original bright colour with a product called brasso like your grand mother used to clean her brass candle sticks found in the cleaning section of most stores.
